We find that most of our groups are either Wine fanatics or Beer fanatics but we are happy to do a combination tour too! Here are a couple suggestions for combination brewery and winery tours:

– Coastal Tour –

We begin by driving up the coast and visiting the Hwy 1 Brewing Company located near Pescadero. Next we head back toward Santa Cruz and visit the historic Beauregard winery in the little known Bonny Doon Region.Coast Tour Pic Finally we visit the Swift St. Wineries and Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing. These are located in the Swift St. Courtyard along with Kelly’s Bakery and Cafe in case the group has worked up an appetite. This is a great tour for groups that want an equal amount of beer and wine tasting, as well as, a scenic drive up the Santa Cruz coast.

– Soquel-Capitola Tour –

This tour includes Discretion Brewery, Soquel Vineyards, Beer Thirty, Hunter Hill Winery, and Bargetto Winery although not necessarily in that order. All of these locations are within 20 minutes of each other.Soquel Wine Pic RS1 You get the benefit of incredible views from Soquel Vineyards and a plethora of beers to try at Discretion and the immaculate Beer Thirty. This is a great tour for locals looking for a relaxed day of tasting some excellent Santa Cruz libations.

– Santa Cruz Mountains Tour –

We begin the Santa Cruz Mountains Tour with a beer tasting at Santa Cruz Ale Works before we venture into the hills. The next stop is Hallcrest Winery famous for their organic wines and Pinot Noir.home page 6 From here we will wind our way up The San Lorenzo Valley and visit Boulder Creek Brewing Company. Finally we will reach the Summit where we will taste both red and white wines at Byington or David Bruce. This tour is perfect for groups that want to see the redwoods and mountains while tasting at some “off the beaten path” locations.
